Quick Bio of Pastor David Ibiyeomie
A man anointed by God, chosen by grace, and sent to carry out God’s divine mandate to establish His kingdom on earth and to bless humanity is David Ibiyeomie.
He serves as the leading pastor of Salvation Ministries – Home of Success, one of the world’s fastest-growing churches with ground-breaking outcomes and branches in practically all major cities. His headquarters are currently in Plot 17 Birabi Street, GRA Phase II, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, and he serves as a pastor to millions of worshipers all over the world. He was born on October 21, 1962, on Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria, to the late Chief and Mrs. Apollos Iganibo of Bolo Town in the Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria.
David Ibiyeomie received his primary education from 1969 to 1974 at Banham Primary School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. From 1974 to 1979, he completed his secondary school at the Government Comprehensive Secondary School in Borikiri, Rivers State.
After that, in 1980, he was accepted into the Micro-biology degree program at Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt. On May 15, 2004, the Bradley University of America bestowed upon him an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity in honour of his perseverance and goal-oriented ministry.
Birth of Salvation ministry
In the same year that David Ibiyeomie experienced a new birth, he also learned about his heavenly calling. By God’s grace, he chose to leave his home and family behind in order to study at the Word of Faith Bible Institute under the guidance of his mentor, Bishop David Oyedepo (WOFBI of the Living Faith Church).
He had a very clear vision of starting and running a church-based ministry while he was in Bible School. As a result, David Ibiyeomie founded Salvation Ministries, the Home of Success, on Sunday, April 13, 1997, with 34 people present and the mandate to “Establish the Kingdom of God here on earth” through infallible proofs.
For more than 22 years, he has done this by sharing the gospel with infallible proofs all over the world. In doing so, he has carried out his divinely-given mission. Due to this, he has gained widespread awe.
In one day on February 13, 2011, he launched 14 satellite churches, each hosting five services and drawing sizable crowds; this is an epic and wonder in the annals of church growth. He started the Sunday Seven Services on January 26, 2020, and they are now simultaneously interpreted in French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Russian, Chinese, Italian, and Dutch, among other native and international languages.
